Try it together
- Write or print large numbers 1–5.
- Trace each number with a finger first.
- Trace with a crayon or pencil.
- Place the matching number of dots beside each numeral.
Make it playful
Keep the activity short, celebrate effort, and let children move, point, talk, draw, or act whenever it helps them participate.
For parents and caregivers: Short tracing sessions are enough. Stop while the child is still interested and return later.
