Animal Sounds Learning Game

Make animal sounds, match animals to their sounds, and encourage children to act out each animal.

Try it together

  1. Show or name an animal.
  2. Ask what sound it might make.
  3. Make the sound together and copy the animal's movement.
  4. Mix several animals and see whether the child remembers each sound.

Make it playful

Keep the activity short, celebrate effort, and let children move, point, talk, draw, or act whenever it helps them participate.

For parents and caregivers: Treat pretend sounds as playful language practice rather than a correctness test.
